01Frequently asked questions

How do I find real estate referrals on Refera?

Refera shows the referrals posted in the states you are licensed in, so everything in your feed is already somewhere you can work. Search by keyword or property type to narrow it, then apply where you can genuinely service the client. Your fit note opens a conversation with the posting agent right away.

How do I post a Realtor referral on Refera?

Include the city, ZIP code, timing, client need, price range, property type, and referral fee. Keep client names, exact addresses, and contact details out of the public listing. Share those in the conversation once you choose your partner.

What happens after I apply?

Applying starts a conversation with the posting agent immediately, seeded with your fit note. Message back and forth while they decide. Your profile, markets, and reputation sit right beside the thread.

What happens when an applicant is selected?

The selected applicant's conversation becomes the private deal room for the two agents, with full contact and both profiles. The listing pauses so it stops collecting applications, and every other applicant is notified so they can move on.

How does Refera handle the referral terms?

Terms (referral percent, price band, market, timing) live on the listing and on each application, so both sides see them up front and align on specifics in the deal room. Use whatever referral paperwork your brokerage requires; Refera keeps the record of the conversation and the outcome.

How does a referral end?

Either agent can end the connection at any point and record how it went: deal closed, or another outcome with a short reason. The other agent is alerted with the reason, and both of you are prompted to leave a review.

How do reviews work?

Reviews are double-blind: after a connection ends, each agent rates the other, and nothing is shown until both have submitted. Then both reviews unlock at the same time and feed each agent's reputation.

How much does Refera cost?

Membership is a flat rate: founding members lock in $19 a month or $190 a year for life, and the standard rate is $49 a month. Refera never takes a cut of your commission, so every referral fee you earn stays yours.

Is Refera a Realtor-to-Realtor referral marketplace?

Yes. Every member passes license verification before they can work referrals, and browsing, posting, and applying all happen inside the verified network, so every interaction comes from a real licensed agent.

How do I report abuse, a privacy issue, or a license concern?

Use the legal center for privacy requests, abuse reports, takedown requests, and license concerns. Include who, what, when, and any evidence safe to share. You can also email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected].
